Different Types of Car Motors

There are exactly two types of electric motors, which are probably not change in the future, as they use the current property, namely, direct and alternating current.

Electric motors are electromechanical transducers that convert electrical energy into mechanical. The core of this technology are magnetic, they arise when flows through a conducting coil electrical energy.

The antagonist to these temporary variable generated magnetic fields (solenoids)) are permanent magnets (permanent magnets, which have consistently the same magnetic fields. This technique uses the principle advantage of which is similarly charged particles repel and attract different charged him.

Since the variable magnetic field of the coil are constantly changing these short positive or negative charge. Then the magnetic fields of permanent magnets respond by being attracted or repelled. This principle is the essence of all electric motors.

DC motor
A DC motor consists of a stator and rotor. The stationary stator into a DC motor is a permanent magnet. Inside the stator, the rotor. This rotor is a coil located by an iron core called the armature. Iron core is magnetized so because this is very good.

Now When current flows through the coil creates an electromagnet, which interacts with the stator. The rotor begins to rhythmically driven by repulsion and attraction in itself set in motion.

AC and three phase motors
This type of electric motors works exactly the same principle as the DC motors. This one is on AC power, which enables the rotor rhythmically charged in different magnetic fields. This technique will only give up the commutator.
